THe good news

The Gospel is the good news that we don’t have to go to hell for eternity. 

God became man in Jesus Christ, He lived the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died, in our place. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

On the third day, He rose from the dead, proving that He is the Son of God and offering the gift of salvation for all who repent and believe the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Christ’s death and resurrection enables us to be forgiven for our sins and gives us the power to no longer be controlled by sin (Colossians 1:13-14, John 8:36).

By paying the price for our sin on the cross, Jesus did what we could never do - He bridged the immeasurable gap between us and God.

Jesus alone has power over sin and death. He didn’t come to make bad people good or good people great. He came to make spiritually dead people come alive when they repent and put their faith in Him.
